Although we studied Native Americans earlier this year, we had a very special guest speaker come in and talk to us! Daryn grew up on a Hopi reservation, and he was able to share a lot of information about Native American culture. We learned more about the Hopi lifestyle including: the foods they eat, the clothes they wear, games they play, the houses they live in, and all about life on a reservation.:)

We have been learning all about saving and earning money in theme 10, but we have also been studying economies and global markets in social studies. What better way to practice making decisions with money then by playing Monopoly and Life! 🙂
